You’re going to find some of the most common questions we get and all the information we can think of below! Something we’ve missed or you’re unsure about? The team is here to make this an awesome experience for you, so feel free to ask!

What is it?

The Monster Slip And Slide is a four lane slip and slide measuring a whopping 360 feet in length. Based in Cornwall, this a great place to have a lot of fun with friends and family, no matter what the weather may be!

You’ll find the Monster Slip and Slide just outside Bude in Cornwall. There’s plenty of parking and great access from the Atlantic Highway. Once you’re done, we’re close to some awesome local beaches.

Cost and timings?

It’s just £13.50 per person for an hour session, (last slide will be called 50 minutes into the session to allow time for clearing down the slide). Children 4 and under slide for free with a fee paying adult. Carers are also free of charge, but we’ll need proof of DLA / Carers ID. 

Want more
than an hour?

Each of our sessions is one hour in length. If you want extra time please book the next session as well but inform the reception staff at check in to make sure your wristbands are correct.

Is booking required?

No you don’t have to book. However, we highly recommend that you do book in advance to avoid disappointment – the online booking system is very easy and straightforward.

When are
you open?

Public sessions are 10am – 5pm. (last session at 4pm) 7 days a week throughout the summer holidays. Private sessions are to be booked direct via our website and run from 5pm-6pm.

When do I need
to arrive?

Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your session starting to allow you to check in and get changed. Please do your best to arrive in time for your session as no refunds can be given if you arrive late. You can continue to slide for the remainder of the session if you choose.

What happens if you get hungry?

We have an awesome catering team nicknamed ‘The Monster Munch Bunch’. We have a great team offering hot and cold food, drinks and yummy ice creams. Whether you are just a spectator or super slider there’s something for everyone to enjoy – no matter what the weather!

Can i book a private session?

Group sessions run between 5-6pm. Groups can book two lanes or four lanes. The price for two lanes is £220 for 15 people per hour. Want all the lanes? That would be £420 per hour for a group of 30. Additional sliders can be added at £13 per person. Please email all group enquiries.

Is there a minimum Age to Slide?

The minimum age to slide is 18 months, children aged 4 years or younger must always slide with a fee paying adult. Children must always be accompanied by an adult and be confident in water. Please make sure you supervise children at all times on site.

Sliding with medical issues?

If you are pregnant or have pre-existing back or neck injuries we are unable to let you participate. It is the sliders responsibility to declare this and to seek advanced medical advice in regard to pre-existing medical issues. All participants will be asked to sign a disclaimer prior to sliding.

What should
you wear?

You are free to wear what you like and what you wear is very much weather dependant. However, we generally advise the use of a wetsuit and grip socks. We have a large selection of wetsuits for rent at £4 per suit or you are welcome to bring your own. Grips socks can be purchased for yours to keep for just £2.

Wanting to
Take photos?

You are welcome to use cameras on the slide but we can take no responsibility for loss or damage. Please respect the privacy of others while you are on site. 

Professional Photos?

We have a professional photographer on site who will snap away and have photos available to purchase at the end of the session via the QR codes on site or our Website. (Photos will only be kept for the day of the session).

Bringing Friends, family & pets?

You are welcome to bring family and friends to watch as there’s plenty of room to relax and watch everyone slide on by. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead and away from the slide at all times.

Lost property

We will keep hold of any lost property until the end of the season. Anything that has not been returned will be given to the local police station in Bude.

Alcohol & Drugs

No alcohol or drugs are permitted on site. Anyone deemed to be under the influence will be asked to leave the site premises.

Changing & Toiliets

We ask that participants get changed next to their vehicles. However if this is not convenient, we do have changing cubicles and a small tent for getting changed in. Portaloos are available.
